Dr James Dimech-DeBono is a Director at CEG and leads the Quantitative Finance practice in Europe.  James has over 26 years’ advisory experience and his clients include financial institutions and major law firms. He also advises other corporates and national regulators in the areas of banking, investment management, valuation, risk management, regulation and hedging. He has a strong academic background in quantitative financial economics.

Dr Dimech-DeBono has been appointed as a testifying expert on numerous occasions in courts and arbitration tribunals. Most notable roles in his career include being appointed expert to the EC DG Competition on 2009 Banking crisis, being global head of IPV at an investment bank and leading a number of ECB Asset Quality Reviews within the Eurozone.
